Standards of conduct for all participants during CIDiER 2026

Professional Conduct

Participants must engage in all conference activities professionally and respectfully. Constructive dialogue and the open exchange of ideas are always encouraged.

Respect and Inclusion

CIDiER promotes an environment free of discrimination and harassment. All participants must treat others with respect, regardless of their background, nationality, gender, academic position, or personal beliefs.

Any form of inappropriate behavior, including harassment, offensive language, or disruptive conduct, will not be tolerated.

Academic Integrity

All contributions must reflect the highest standards of academic integrity. Participants are expected to respect the work of others and engage in ethical research and presentation practices.

Compliance During Sessions

Participants must follow the instructions of session chairs and organizers, including time limits and participation guidelines, to ensure the smooth operation of all sessions.

Reporting Concerns

Any concerns regarding violations of this Code of Conduct should be reported to the organizing committee. All reports will be handled with discretion and seriousness.

Enforcement

CIDiER reserves the right to take appropriate actions in response to any violations of this Code of Conduct, including removal from the conference if necessary.
