Key policies and guidelines governing participation, submission, and publication
Academic Integrity and Plagiarism Policy
CIDiER is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical research practices. All submissions must be original and properly reference the work of others.
Plagiarism, including the use of unattributed content, duplicate submission, or significant overlap with previously published work, is strictly prohibited.
In cases where misconduct is identified, CIDiER reserves the right to take appropriate actions, which may include:
- Rejection of the submission or removal from the final publication
- Notification to the authors and, where appropriate, their affiliated institutions
- Communication with relevant academic or research ethics bodies
- Restriction of future submissions to CIDiER
CIDiER handles all cases with fairness, confidentiality, and in accordance with internationally recognized academic standards.
Policy on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
CIDiER recognizes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in academic work. The use of such tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) is permitted only for limited support purposes, such as language editing or organization of ideas.
The use of AI tools for generating substantial parts of a manuscript, including entire sections or full papers, is not allowed.
Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their work. Any use of AI tools must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript (e.g., in the acknowledgments section).
Failure to comply with this policy may result in rejection or withdrawal of the submission.
Registration, Cancellation and Refund Policy
CIDiER is organized as a virtual international conference. All registrations are considered final. Due to the nature of the conference and the associated publication process, registration fees are non-refundable.
Presentation Responsibility
If a registered author is unable to attend, they must designate a co-author or qualified colleague to present on their behalf. This change must be communicated in advance to the organizing committee via email.
Personal Circumstances
Due to the virtual nature of the conference, participants are responsible for ensuring their availability and technical readiness. CIDiER cannot be held responsible for issues related to:
- Internet connectivity issues
- Technical problems with personal equipment
- Scheduling conflicts or work obligations
- Health-related situations
Conference Adjustments
CIDiER reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the schedule or format of the conference if necessary.
